Updated Sept. 30, 2026

This plan uses 7 days at the destination. Arrive before the first full day when possible; if your flights use part of a day, shorten the sightseeing instead of compressing every stop.

Use the order below as a starting point, then adjust it to opening days, weather and the reservations you can actually secure. Keep nearby experiences together and leave time for meals and the journey between stops.

Day 1: South Beach And Art Deco Streets

Morning: Walk the Art Deco area while the day is still cooler, then enjoy the beach if conditions are suitable. Keep your first major outing within Miami Beach.

Afternoon And Evening: Take a shaded lunch break and leave the afternoon for the water or hotel pool. Choose dinner close enough to avoid a long transfer after a sun-filled day.

Day 2: Little Havana And The Bay

Morning: Visit Little Havana with time for coffee, food and a neighborhood walk. A booked local tour can provide context and make lunch part of the experience.

Afternoon And Evening: Spend the later afternoon near the bay or in Brickell. Choose a waterfront walk or a boat outing with a confirmed departure point and flexible weather terms.

Day 3: Wynwood And A Slower Afternoon

Morning: Explore Wynwood's murals and galleries. Decide in advance whether to include the ticketed Wynwood Walls experience.

Afternoon And Evening: Pause for lunch and return to the beach or pool before dinner. If you prefer architecture and gardens, substitute Vizcaya for Wynwood rather than trying to do both.

Day 4: Vizcaya And Coconut Grove

Morning: Tour Vizcaya's house and gardens, allowing for the heat and the site's terrain. Check current tickets and access needs before setting out.

Afternoon And Evening: Continue to Coconut Grove for a relaxed meal and leafy neighborhood streets. Keep this a mainland day instead of adding a faraway beach reservation.

Day 5: Everglades Day

Morning: Choose your park entrance or excursion and leave with ample travel time. Pack water, sun protection and whatever the operator recommends.

Afternoon And Evening: Follow wildlife and trail guidance, then return for an easy evening. Swap this day with an indoor outing if weather or official conditions make it unsuitable.

Day 6: A Beach Day Without A Checklist

Morning: Enjoy a different stretch of Miami Beach or revisit the one you liked best. Check lifeguard guidance even if the water looked calm earlier in the week.

Afternoon And Evening: Leave time for shopping, a long lunch or hotel facilities. Reserve only the evening experience that matters most.

Day 7: A Final Neighborhood Morning

Morning: Have breakfast near your hotel and fit in a short walk or a missed nearby stop. Avoid a last-minute drive to a different part of South Florida.

Afternoon And Evening: Allow for causeway traffic, rental return and airport security. If flying from FLL, remember that the transfer differs from the trip to MIA.

If you are leaving today, choose one nearby priority and leave the remaining time for packing, transport and the airport. If departure is tomorrow, enjoy the full day at the pace outlined above.
