If you get a long weekend, you could use that day off to mow the lawn, do laundry … or go on a trip to Orlando.

Do I have your attention now?

So, here’s the plan: we’re talking about going to Orlando Saturday and Sunday, plus one or two other days. That could be a Friday and the weekend or the weekend and a Monday.

This long weekend Orlando itinerary is designed to help you make the most of your time and finally take that trip to see what Orlando is all about.

A long weekend in Orlando is definitely doable as Orlando International Airport has nonstop flights from cities across the United States and beyond. If you don’t live in a city which has an airport with nonstop flights to Orlando, though, this itinerary might not be for you. Instead, see our One-Week Itinerary In Orlando.

Here is a suggested itinerary for spending a long weekend in Orlando, assuming you get off on Monday (though this itinerary would work for Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Tuesday). This also assumes that since you’ll only be in Orlando for two nights, you’ll only take a carry-on. Let’s do this!

Saturday

  • 12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Arrive at EPCOT, go through security and ticketing, then drop your carry-on bag off at the lockers
  • 12:30 p.m. onward: Explore and enjoy EPCOT until you’re ready to get your carry-on bag from the lockers and retire to your hotel
